I bought new flip-flops. I love them. So much so that they necessitated an at-home pedicure.
Yes, sometimes (every time) I buy OPI Nail Color based on the name. My favorites? "I'm Not Really a Waitress," "Skinny Dip in Lake Michigan," and "Suzi Says DA!" Do you do this, too? I suppose it's like buying something because of it's packaging. Or, if you're me, you buy all food items that are blue. Why? No idea. My grocery shopping theme is pretty much "if it's new or it's blue, I'll try it". In fact, I think my favorite color is a Red#3 Blue#5 combo. Artificial color much? Damn skippy. (BRING BACK PEPSI BLUE!!!)
But I digress. Duh.

I buy paper towels based on the pattern, I don't even know what brand they are or how much they cost. One brand or other was making an awesome cupcake pattern but they stopped, and now I'm at a loss.

I sometimes buy wine because it has a crazy name. But mostly I'm rather practical about my purchases. Who'd a thunk it?
Witchy: I have a tendency to buy wine based on the picture on the label. Or, if it's in a bin I can reach. Did you get that? I buy wine. Out of a bin. I'm pretty sure that's only one step above boxed wine.
I'm kind of a sucker for things that are either smaller or larger than they're supposed to be. Like when they introduced huge tic-tacs, I had to tell myself that I really don't like them that much and don't need to buy them. And little tiny canned Cokes cost way more than buying regular sized cans, but they are so cute that I want to buy them every time. Of course now we have Mexican Cokes in my grocery store, and they use real sugar instead of corn syrup down there. The difference in taste is so worth it. Plus they are glass bottled!
Sra: Mexican Pepsi!!! I love it! And miniature soda cans are so adorable. Drinking them makes me feel like a little lady. And then I let out an enormous belch and I return to normal.
I drink the little cans of pop because I don't like drinking a whole (big) can of pop....Does that make me a lady???

I bought this little tin of something called Karma Bum Lip Balm because it came in a little tin container with a sliding tin top that reminded me of something from my childhood. It also has a picture of buddha on the front. Tastes terrible...

By the way, I lived in Minneapolis for 8 years. I always hated to buy summer clothes and cute sandals because I knew their season was short. Oh, how those sundresses at Dayton's used to taunt me as I walked through the skyway there back to my car parked in the Target Center!
