And then I sprayed my hair PINK....that it all.

First things first:

Firstly, please check out your fellow bloggers and see their answers for the assigned MEME. All of them scored A pluses. Am I alone in being unable to think of "A+" without thinking of Ralphie's teachers going, "A++, ++, ++, ++, ++, ++, ++!"? Didn't think so.

Visit: Sra, Meg and Natalie to see their MEME's. I've made their names into links to their websites, as I am technologically savvy to the 9th power. Please note that Iliana and Hillary are tardy in their posts and will be serving detention for at least a week. But actually, Hillary has blogged about her puppy, Stella who is all kinds of cute and Iliana has blogged about a sweet little girl named Ella. Equally (and actually MORE than) important, so please give them a read :)

Also, Sra was the winner of one of the prizes from the giveaway, and she SENT ME A THANK YOU NOTE ON AN ART-Y POST CARD. How great is she? Honestly, I sure hope she goes to Blogher '09 because I'd love to meet her. Please note that I'm working with Penzey's spices to get the vanilla beans to the STILL NEEDS TO ANSWER HER MEME HILLARY in Canada---I had no idea how fussy they were! No pressure. And the lovely Bridge should have her book before she leaves for Europe. I hope. I sent it via my outbox at work, so there's a little finger-crossing involved.

Onto the title.

I wasn't kidding. I sprayed my hair pink.

At a company function.

After playing Guitar Hero.

I hope it washes out.

Shit. Does it wash out? I'm going to my parents' house this weekend. Shit. Shit!

I love the pink! And if it's sprayed, it will most likely wash out. Even when it's applied as foils it doesn't last long.

I am so ashamed. I did not realize that there was an expiration date on the meme. I will get to it. The thing is, I am having such a hard time coming up with quirky things about myself. I'm just so damn perfect, you see.

Oh, and I blogged about Stella AND Mexico - so there. I wasn't slacking in the blog department, just the meme department.

I love the Guitar Hero picture. Also? I am jealous of your company function that included Guitar Hero and pink hair dye. My company functions usually involve stress and awkward sexual advances.

Thanks so much for linking to Ella's post. All prayers are welcome, appreciated, and needed!

On to the pink hair...I had purple hair in high school for a while. Bright purple on the bottom half of my long hair. I'm dying for Guitar Hero!

Now I want to put pink streaks in my hair.

I miss my nose ring, so this could be my way to be cool again ;)

Witchy: I kind of do, too! I think I'll try to wash some of it out before I go to bed, so I don't stain my pillow cases...

Hills: I will grant you an extension, and possibly offer extra credit at the end of the semester. And "awkward sexual advances" is peeyourpantsfunny. But in totally non-Human Resources sort of way, o'course.

Iliana: You're more than welcome. I hope everyone goes to your post! You had purple hair??? (But I'll bet your hair totally matched something b/c I'd bet you were into purses and shoes back then, too!)

Angella: SHUT UP!! SHUT UP!! SHUT UP!! SHUT UP!! You had a nose ring?? My mind is blown. Forever and ever. Tip your waitresses!! Thank you and good night!

ha, this sounds like my job! we have GH set up IN THE OFFICE and usually knock off around 3p on fridays to play.

i LOVE the pink. i think you should keep it :-)

Did Chuck rock out to GH too? I would pay for the pictures if you have them...

And why didn't we play GH when I was there? Oh wait- I got to be there when they had a square dance and made us throw fake cow pies. Gee, that totally makes up for it.

Keep the pink for the wedding. It will match your pope hat.

It should wash out. However, if you were to use the "semi-permanent" stuff and actually wanted it to last for awhile, I would recommend shampooing every other time you wash your hair, and just conditioning. COnditioner helps make your hair happy again, and doesn't strip the dye.
I guess I did learn something in high school, after all...

Ha ha, that reminds me of a time when I was studying abroad in Germany, and I got drunk one night (as we did many, many nights) and when I woke up, my bangs were pink. I vaguely remembered thinking that it was a good idea the night before.

I suppose I'll think about the Blogher. To be honest, I don't really know anything about it. But that's also going to be the summer that I'm hopefully figuring out where I'm moving to go to law school, so it might be a tricky maneuver. (I can't think of that word without hearing Eddie Izzard say "Helga! I've invented a maneuver.")

If my book came NEXT year I would still be excited. I love getting the mail every day now. How cool is that? I've hated getting the mai=bills for years now.

I like the pink btw. Is it bad to say I hope it doesn't wash out? HEHEHE.

Alice: At first, I thought your GH stood for General Hospital and I was all, "Whoo! How cool is that to have a soap opera on at work!" and then I realized that I am stupid.

Nic: Oh yeah, right. No, don't think so. OMG! I totally remember you telling me about the cow-chip/square dance thing. Yeah, apparently they realized we're not into throwing poop :)

Meg: Are you sure you're not a beauty-school-drop-out? Because you surely sound wise :)

Sra: Pink Bangs!!! (you should post pictures of that) and "Is it more of a gesture?"

Bridge: It washed out :) So there!

Natalie: You could TOTALLY pull the pink-hair off. And then you'd match your daughter! (she'd be thrilled, I'm sure) :)

Sparklie: Having pink hair was a 1st for me. I've done blue, but I think the pink is more flattering.

Diva: Thank you! It sets my blood shot eyes off quite nicely, doesn't it? :)

Um, good luck with the hair. My sister did that and it took forever to get it out.

I love the pink! Keep it. Your parents will understand, it was for a COMPANY activity. It was REQUIRED for the sake of your job.

Remember the colored hair mousse in the 80's? I loved that stuff!

I vote that you KEEP THE PINK HAIR because you are so freaking cute with it. Cute and awesome. And kick ass.

All of those things.
